*Throwback Post #7*

Living in South Florida has been an amazing experience so far!! The weather's great (minus the spontaneous showers) and the job is going stunningly well! However, there is one thing that has been a new sight to get used to: the million dollar houses just across the water, between our apartment and the beach.
Across the bridge on Woolbright (one of the roads that runs next to Las Ventanas) is a small strip of land that runs along the coast of Southern Florida. On this small strip of sand and concrete stand some of the nicest looking houses that I've been exposed to. Coming from a year in Korea where everything is piled on top of each other, it's still pretty breath taking to see these houses taking up so much room.
Further up the coast are houses belonging to the likes of Tiger Woods, Venus and Serena Williams, and Oprah, among others. It's quite intimidating to be living amongst these mansions while I'm making about as much money in the next year as some of these home owners will make in one day! It does provide a nice background for my runs and walks around the area.
Maybe I'll make some friends in the upcoming months and be able to step foot inside one of these massive structures - maybe.
